Founded with a mission to break down the barriers of a sport often seen as elitist, Erika Bond’s All-Love Racquet Club is dedicated to embracing diversity and inclusion within tennis.

Creating a safe space for historically excluded communities, Erika’s guests can experience and engage with the sport differently through cookouts, courtside cocktails, youth cups, and mini-festivals.

“What I love most is that I’m able to take a sport that I have always enjoyed and reimagine it through a more culturally relevant lens,” she says.

The inaugural All-Love event had “a profound impact” on her life, with Erika explaining: “I navigated many new aspects for the first time—social media advertising, hiring a DJ and performers, sourcing food and local vendors, designing merchandise, and organizing a large-scale tennis program. To then attract over 200 attendees was truly incredible.”

Since then, she has curated events in partnership with the United States Tennis Association (USTA), which Erika says was a “full-circle moment”, as many of her childhood memories involved playing in USTA tournaments.

She says: “While those experiences were formative, I also faced challenges due to my ethnicity and often felt like an outsider in the sport. Today, I am incredibly proud to be collaborating with the USTA to promote diversity, inclusion, culture, and community within tennis.”

Her future vision is for All-Love to solidify itself as a disrupter in the world of racquet sports. She hopes to expand events globally, build a presence at major pro tournaments, and establish clubhouses in key domestic and international cities that redefine the concept of a private racquet club.

“It will have been a journey of hard work and dedication, leading me to achieve a life where work truly is play,” she adds.

Could you share an inspiring story about one of your attendees that shows how much the club means to people?

“While preparing for an event earlier this year, I encountered numerous roadblocks. Feeling disheartened, I shared my frustrations with a supportive, older white female who has championed All-Love from the start. At the end of our lesson, she surprised me by saying, ‘I’m going to help resolve these issues. I love what you’re doing with All-Love. The sport needs more inclusive spaces for everyone.’ Her generosity underscored how much the All-Love mission resonates with others. It’s moments like these that fuel my passion and drive me to keep going every day.”
